Due to various annoyances (my laziness and my work being the main ones) Snare Girl has not been living up to either its slow and interesting beginnings or its short but intense glory period. It looks very much like we may become a multi centered operation with a home in both London and Dublin. From my brief perusal of the Dublin alternative (by which i mean sound art and a real push to promote people doing interesting and exciting new work, whatever the genre or choice of instumentation) music scene, it seems to be held up almost entirely by the most excellent lazybird. Hopefully, when I do eventually get around to moving to Dublin, I will be able to put on some nights and help expand the scene there. Fingers crossed...

In the mean time, one more show in London would be great. If you want to be a part of our future plans (in London or in Dublin), please let us have your demos.

Also, if I have got it totally wrong about Dublin and there is much more going on than I have been able to sniff out please let me know...

That's it for now, but please do get in touch.... thanks xxx
The Snare Girl Shop is now up and running. Check out the excellent releases from the sun was hot and i felt like killing something... and the brilliant El mango y la luna caribe from solo dos en tijuana.

Both are available for £5 including P&P within the UK.
